Radical SHE, Women Quadriennial of Art and Society
Farm Favara presents Crossing the Boundaries of Landscape, an exhibition featuring photographs by Giuseppe Spoto and videos by Alessio Consoli, documenting the extraordinary work of five artists who took part in a residency in Sant’Angelo Muxaro last winter. The exhibition presents the work of Zina Saro-Wiwa, whose Opera di Muxaro explores the tension between the beauty of the landscape and global collapse during the escalation of the conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran. With The Eternal Fall, Loredana Longo created an installation that stages the fracture between memory and modernity, transforming the myth of flight into a reflection on falling and the possibility of finding a new balance. The collective What Remains developed Golden Flag Border Wall and La Trenza, combining reflections on borders with participatory practices that directly involved the local community. Alena Grom invited residents to take part in a collective gesture of solidarity with the Ukrainian people, introducing images of destroyed cities into the landscape and transforming distance into a shared experience. Finally, with Unsolicited Column, Cornelia Konrads introduced an element of surprise and imagination into the extraordinary landscape of Sant’Angelo Muxaro, offering a perspective capable of inspiring wonder and hope. The Seven Courtyards also host Rosangela Leotta’s installation Anatomy of an Invisible Pain, which explores the deep wounds of psychological violence—those that leave no visible marks on the body but profoundly transform the identity of those who experience it. Palazzo Miccichè presents Sacred Heart by Hungarian artist Fanni Kopácsi, a site-specific installation created for the abandoned spaces of the former Chimica Arenella factory in Palermo.

Human Forest – Exploring Nature and Spirituality
Be inspired by the magic of Palazzo Miccichè, a palace-turned-forest where nature is slowly reclaiming an abandoned aristocratic residence, creating a unique dialogue between architecture, time, and the living world.
